I am a quantitative sociologist interested in public opinion dynamics and polarization, the role of family socialization on political attitudes, ethnic educational inequalities and the impacts of ethnic diversity on social cohesion. My methods focus on causal inference with observational data, and encompassing descriptive work.

This Thursday evening, I am going to present work with Merlin Schaeffer on the polarizing effects of providing information about immigration on attitudes towards immigration and immigrants at the 2024 Meeting of the European Consortium of Sociological Research in Barcelona.
